Helena trained under Deirdre O’Connell in The Stanislavsky Studio in Focus Theatre Dublin and performed there over a ten year period.

Most recent roles include Lu in the improvised show “Three Women from the Moon” , directed by Joerg
Andrees, (Michael Chekhov Studio, Berlin), Mrs. Gillespie in “Heaven’s Lost” in Belgrade Theatre Coventry and Caliban in ‘The Tempest’ for Roy Hart Theatre Malerargues, France.

In recent years, she has concentrated on directing where she divides her time between London and Dublin.
Most recently directing “I See You”, with Amy De Bhrún and Roxanna Nic Liam in Theatre Upstairs.

She is a Grandmother of 8 and a mother of 5 girls.
